Der Coach House Block Shiraz stammt von einem einzigen Weinberg in der Nähe des kleinen Dorfes Greenock im Barossa Valley. Der im Jahr 2001 erworbene Coach House Weinberg (früher bekannt als Branson Coach House) produziert außergewöhnlichen Barossa Valley Shiraz, aber ein Block unter den 18 Hektar Weinberg hat sich immer wieder als besonders erwiesen. Dieser besondere Block, der intern als Highway Block bekannt ist, hat sich bei Blindverkostungen bei Two Hands in jedem Jahrgang als Single Vineyard-Qualität erwiesen.

August 2021 im Wineadvocate wie folgt: The inky-hued 2019 Coach House Block Seppeltsfield Road Greenock Shiraz boasts strikingly floral aromas that hint at lavender and hibiscus, some minty, herbal notes and layers of mixed red and black raspberries. I love the complexities this wine evokes in so-called lesser vintages (like the 2017 and this one). The fabulous thing about this wine is that those complexities don't come at a cost of increased astringency or elevated acids—this medium to full-bodied effort continues to flow effortlessly across the palate, supple yet rich, creamy yet structured, long and softly dusty on the finish. It's a wonderful representation of Shiraz from Greenock, at the western rim of the Barossa Valley.
