Dichter und satter Kern, frische intensiv fruchtige Nase. süssliche kleine Beeren. Schwarzkirsche. Im Mund satt mit guter Frucht. Schöne polierte Tannine, weich, frisch und sauberes Finale. Seit einigen Jahren nun ist das Chateau Dalem für uns die Benchmark in Fronsac, daran ändert auch der JG 2018 nichts. 93+ Punkte

Ebenfalls möchte ich meine Empfehlung für die Weingüter aus dem Fronsac aussprechen: Chateau Fontenil, Chateau La Vieille Cure, Chateau Carlmagnus, Chateau La Dauphine, Chateau La Riviere.

Excellent, but give it 24 months in bottle, because the nose needs time to find its mojo.
