Den Chateau Marquis de Terme 2022 Margaux beschreibt William Kelley wie folgt:
A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2022 Marquis de Terme expresses aromas of oak, spices, pencil shavings and ripe dark berries. Concentrated but a bit over-extracted and with firm and chunky tannins, it reveals a broad-shouldered, punchy style that privileges power over charm.
Den Chateau Marquis de Terme 2022 Margaux beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
Blackcurrant, black olive and black berry aromas and flavors. Full and chewy with very polished tannins. It’s all integrated and focused. Solid young wine here.

The finest vintage to date from this château, the 2022 Château Marquis De Terme checks in as 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot, all of which is resting in 50% new French oak. This terroir can often yield a more foursquare wine, yet director Ludovic David has done a great job over the past decade, and the wines today show much more finesse and elegance. Sporting a deep purple hue as well as terrific notes of pure cassis, blueberries, flowers, and spicy oak, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, layered mouthfeel, and solid, building tannins. It's a terrific Margaux. Tasted twice.

Lusciously-textured, supple, creamy, full-bodied, and deep, the fruits and long, silky and vibrant, leaving you with layers of ripe, black, and deep red, sweet, fresh, elegant berries. Drink from 2026-2050.

Sumptuous and svelte, this has a nice sleek core with a smooth texture - clean fruit offset by present, grippy and fleshy tannins that coat the whole mouth. Fruit feels ripe and well worked and this has shots of cool freshness and nice balancing acidity. Clean and stylish with purity, length and lots to like and where the ample tannins combine with serious juiciness that gives energy and focus. A great wine from Margaux and consistently good quality from this estate run by Ludovic David. Julien Viaud consultant. Merlot harvest 13-20 September, Cabernet Sauvignon 22-29, Petit Verdot 21 September. HVE3 certified. Ageing 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% new. Rolland & Associés consultants.
