James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Lousteauneuf 2020 Medoc Folgendes:
A little lean, but compact. A core of fruit and tight, linear tannins. Medium finish. Should develop nicely. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 22% merlot and 18% petit verdot.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Lousteauneuf:
The 2020 Lousteauneuf, aged in two-thirds new oak with 15% aged in 20-hectoliter foudres, has plenty of black plum, boysenberry and raspberry coulis scents on the nose; this is one of the more opulent Médoc wines this vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and good acidity; maybe a little rustic toward the finish, but it conveys rugged charm.
