Den Chateau Gironville 2020 Haut Medoc beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
91 Fresh cherries, cassis, spices and olives to the nose with a hint of crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied palate shows juicy, fresh fruit and firm, fine-grained tannins. 100% cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold.
Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Gironville 2020 Haut Medoc :
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aging for 12-14 months in French oak barrels, 30% new, the 2020 Gironville has 14% alcohol. Deep purple-black colored, it shoots out of the glass with well-defined cassis and blackberry scents, plus hints of bay leaves, cedar chest and graphite with a touch of cracked black pepper. The medium-bodied palate is chock-full of crunchy black fruits with a firm, grainy frame and plenty of freshness, finishing long and lively. This is seriously impressive Cabernet, punching well above its weight!
Antonio Galloni beschreibt den Chateau de Gironville 2020 wie folgt:
The 2020 de Gironville is a dark, brooding Haut-Médoc. Gravel, smoke, licorice, incense and chocolate lend a distinctly virile, somber feel. It will be interesting to see if the 2020 fleshes out in élevage. Today the tannins are a bit severe.
