92 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Clos du Roy 2020 Fronsac Den Chateau Clos du Roy 2020 Fronsac beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
A juicy red with blackberry, chocolate and walnut aromas and flavors. Medium to full body. Round tannins. Chewy at the end. Needs time to soften. Try after 2026.

90-92 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für denChateau Clos du Roy 2020Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Clos du Roy 2020 Fronsac :
Deep purple-black colored, the 2020 Clos du Roy leaps from the glass with vibrant notes of black cherries, baked plums and mossy tree bark, with wafts of wild mushrooms and chargrill. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers a rock-solid structure of grainy tannins and bold freshness to support the generous black fruit, finishing earthy.

87-89 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Clos du Roy 2020Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Clos du Roy:
The 2020 Clos du Roy has a fresh, well-defined blackberry and bilberry nose, subtle floral scents of iris flower and potpourri emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with an earthy, almost Left Bank-like entry, certainly one of the more structured and austere Fronsac wines. It just needs to develop more flesh on the finish.

Die Bewertung für den Chateau Dalem 2020 Fronsac vom Wine Cellar Insider lautet wie folgt.Jeff Leve im März 2023:

The floral bouquet is what you initially notice before moving on to its licorice, tobacco leaf, espresso, and chocolate-covered plum notes. On the palate, the wine is seductive with its silky textures, and opulent nature. In the finish, the wine feels as good on the palate as it tastes. This is in contention for the best vintage of Dalem I have ever tasted. Drink from 2023-2038.

The 2020 Carlmagnus has a ripe, quite perfumed nose of black cherries, boysenberry and blood orange scents, becoming quite citric with aeration; nice control here. Lots darker, almost blue fruits as well as classic cedary spice, tobacco, and liquid violet notes emerge from the 2020 Château Moulin Haut-Laroque, a medium to full-bodied, ripe, round, seamless Fronsac offering tons of character. It plays in the pure, elegant, focused style of the vintage, has ripe tannins, and is going to deliver the goods over the coming decade.

83-85 Punkte für den 2020er Chateau Moulin Haut-Laroque gibt es von der Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni:
The 2020 Moulin Haut-Laroque comes across a little stewed on the nose. The palate is very ripe with chewy tannins and feels a tad cloying on the finish at the moment.

A fresh and firm Fronsac with vibrant cherries, spices and some stony minerality to the nose. Medium-bodied palate garners chalky and fresh tannins that linger with the fruit in a long but nuanced finish. Juicy and really drinkable. Enjoy now, but can hold well for four to six years.

91 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau de La Riviere 2020 Fronsac Den Chateau de La Riviere 2020 Fronsac beschreibt Jeb Dunnuck wie folgt:
The 2020 Château De La Rivière is an outstanding Fronsac offering juicy darker, almost blue fruits, medium-bodied richness, classy spring flower and graphite aromatics, fine tannins, and a great finish. It shows the classic, fresher, focused, yet still concentrated style of the vintage and is well worth following over the coming 5-7 years, probably longer.

The 2020 Château de la Rivière is perfumed on the nose and quite floral and pure, offering crushed violets and a hint of lavender that complements the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a crisp, smooth texture and just a nuanced sapidity on the finish that urges you to take another sip. This is a much better Château de la Rivière compared to the 2018.

Opaque purple-black in color, the 2020 Fontenil needs a little swirling and coaxing to release opulent scents of plum preserves, blueberry compote and chocolate-covered cherries, plus suggestions of candied violets, ground cloves and fertile loam. The full-bodied palate is rich with generous black and blue preserves layers, supported by beautifully plush tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long and fragrant.

The 2020 Fontenil has a slightly candied quality on the nose of vibrant red fruit complemented by marmalade and orange zest. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity, good backbone and cedar-infused black fruit on the saline finish. This is a fine Fontenil, albeit one that deserves 3–4 years in bottle.

The 2020 Franc-Mayne has turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of dark berries, spices and licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless palate of real class and purity. Vibrant and polished, with vibrant fruit, powdery tannins and a long, perfumed finish, it's further evidence that this is an estate on the rise.

A pretty, floral, exotic 2020, the 2020 Château Franc Mayne has ample red and blue fruits as well as flowery incense, orange blossom, and sandalwood notes in a medium to full-bodied, silky, elegant, already irresistible package. While it's not massive, it has terrific concentration and intensity, supple tannins, and a great finish. It's going to evolve gracefully for 15 years or more.

96 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Franc Mayne 2020 Saint EmilionDas meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Franc Mayne 2020:
The 2020 Franc Mayne is dense, resonant and beautifully explosive in the glass. Sumptuous dark red/purplish fruit, rose petals, mint and lavender all saturate the palate. This heady Saint-Émilion really delivers the goods. There's plenty of energy and tension to balance the more forward nature of the Merlot. Superb.

Spicy black cherries, smoke, flowers, cigar box, dark red fruits and espresso bean shine with ease in the perfume. Elegant, fresh, vibrant and refined, the wine is medium-bodied, lifted and ends with ample minerality and dark chocolate covered plums on the backend that keep on going. This could be the finest vintage of Franc Mayne ever produced. Drink from 2024-2045.

The 2020 Reynon has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and straightforward notions of blackberry preserves and stewed black plums on the nose with touches of bouquet garni and tilled soil. The medium-bodied palate delivers a nice purity and intensity of black fruit flavors with soft tannins and a lively finish.

90-91 Suckling-Punkte für den Chateau Reynon 2020James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Reynon 2020 rouge Premier Cotes de Bordeaux Folgendes:

A firm, linear red with chewy, polished tannins. Dark fruit with some leaf and mushroom undertones. Will soften nicely in barrel.

87-89 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Reynon 2020Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Reynon:

The 2020 Reynon has a vibrant blackberry, raspberry and marine scented nose, a bit oaky at the moment, though that will be assimilated with time. The palate is medium-bodied with dense black fruit, and again, the new oak is perhaps a little too vocal, dominating the finish rather than complementing it. Tasted twice with consistent notes

91 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Clos du Roy 2019 FronsacJeb Dunnuck im April 2022:
I loved the 2019 Clos Du Roy from barrel, and it doesn’t disappoint from bottle. Ripe black cherries, chocolaty herbs, licorice, and graphite are just some of its nuances, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a round, layered texture, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming decade.

92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Clos du Roy 2019 FronsacNeal Martin zum Chateau Clos du Roy 2019 Fronsac:
The 2019 Clos du Roy has an intense bouquet of marine-tinged black fruit, though I get the feeling that it’s already beginning to close down. The palate is medium-bodied and concentrated, with firm tannins, plenty of black fruit and impressive structure on the finish. Very fine, but give it a couple of years in bottle.

91 Fresh cherries, cassis, spices and olives to the nose with a hint of crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied palate shows juicy, fresh fruit and firm, fine-grained tannins. 100% cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold.

90-92+ Punkte vom Wine Advocate für denChateau Belle Vue 2020Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Gironville 2020 Haut Medoc :
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aging for 12-14 months in French oak barrels, 30% new, the 2020 Gironville has 14% alcohol. Deep purple-black colored, it shoots out of the glass with well-defined cassis and blackberry scents, plus hints of bay leaves, cedar chest and graphite with a touch of cracked black pepper. The medium-bodied palate is chock-full of crunchy black fruits with a firm, grainy frame and plenty of freshness, finishing long and lively. This is seriously impressive Cabernet, punching well above its weight!

89-91 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Antonio Galloni beschreibt den Chateau de Gironville 2020 wie folgt:
The 2020 de Gironville is a dark, brooding Haut-Médoc. Gravel, smoke, licorice, incense and chocolate lend a distinctly virile, somber feel. It will be interesting to see if the 2020 fleshes out in élevage. Today the tannins are a bit severe.
