Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau de Chantegrive 2020 rouge Graves :
Composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2020 Chantegrive has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and notes of stewed black and red plums, black raspberries and damp soil, plus hints of tapenade and black truffles with a waft of bay leaves. The medium-bodied palate is refreshing, delivering a good amount of crunchy red and black fruits and a soft texture, finishing with an herbal lift.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau de Chantegrive 2020 rouge Graves Folgendes:
A linear and chewy red with dark-berry, bark and black-tea character. It’s medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a medium finish.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Chantegrive:
The 2020 Château de Chantegrive has a tightly wound nose, a mixture of red and black fruit and later hints of blueberry mixed with violet; it unfolds nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and very grippy in the mouth, leading to a saline, almost briny finish. Possessing a little more sinew than its peers, this will deserve 4–5 years in bottle. A bit coarse at the moment.
