94 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Latour a Pomerol 2020 Pomerol Den Chateau Latour a Pomerol 2020 Pomerol beschreibt William Kelley wie folgt:
In the 2019 vintage, this estate was a highlight of the Mouiex portfolio, and the 2020 Latour à Pomerol is a terrific follow-up. Bursting with aromas of cherries, dark berries, licorice, black truffle and petroleum jelly, it's medium to full-bodied, with a broad attack that segues into a rich core of fruit that's framed by sweet, powdery tannins.

Den Chateau Latour a Pomerol 2020 Pomerol beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
The black olives and dark fruit come through on the nose with violets and wet earth. Full and very chunky and powerful. Yet it’s lively and vivid with excellent energy. Fantastic. Pure merlot. Leave it until 2030.

The 2020 Château Latour A Pomerol showed brilliantly, with a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, yet incredibly elegant profile that's already impossible to resist. Black cherries, spicy oak, tobacco, camphor, and hints of graphite all define the aromatics, and this balanced, ethereal, complex Pomerol is going to shine for at least two decades. It's another stunning wine from the team at Moueix.

91 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau La Grave 2020 (Trigant de Boisset) PomerolJames Molsworth beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:
Shows the plush, forward boysenberry and blackberry fruit profile of the vintage, but has ample savory and tobacco leaf notes as well. Offers just a touch of grain through the humus-tinged finish, giving this a rustic edge at the very end. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2024 through 2035. 2,150 cases made, 50 cases imported. –JM

Bursting with aromas of dark cherries, berries and plum liqueur complemented by hints of rose petal and pencil shavings, the 2020 La Grave-Trigant-de-Boisset is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with a gourmand, generous profile and a mint-inflected finish.

96 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau La Grave 2020 Trigant de Boisset Den Chateau La Grave 2020 Trigant de Boisset beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
Complex aromas of currants, orange peel and fresh flowers. Gravel and spices. Hints of ovaltine. It’s full-bodied with very polished tannins, that give lovely texture and length to the wine. Generous yet in proportion. Drink in three to five years. Try after 2028.

Reminding me slightly of the 1998, the dense ruby/purple-hued 2020 Château Trotanoy offers a classic, concentrated, structured, regal style that this terroir seems to deliver with ease. Giving up a layered, primordial bouquet of smoked tobacco, black cherries, iron, graphite, and gravelly earth, it hits the palate with a massive array of fruit and tannins that somehow stays flawlessly balanced, offering ripe, silky, yet building tannins, flawless balance, and a gorgeous finish. It's going to need a decade of bottle age to hit the early stages of maturity, but this is pure Pomerol brilliance. Is there a better performing Château on the Right Bank today? Not in my opinion.

Die Bewertung für den Chateau Trotanoy 2020 Pomerol vom Wine Cellar Insider lautet wie folgt.100/100 The Wine Cellar Insider Jeff Leve 22/03/2023
As good as this was from barrel, it is even better in the bottle! The array of black and dark red fruits, with nuances of flowers, chocolate, licorice, wet earth and spice in the perfume lets you know you are in for something special. This wine is what hedonism is all about. Sensuous, silky, polished, fresh and opulent, texturally, this is off the charts. The wine tastes and feels like the fruits were drenched in velvet, infused with dark chocolate and then polished, making this effortless to drink. The seamless finish hits the 60 second mark. Clearly, this is a legend in the making. If you are a fan of Trotanoy and you have the extra income, run, do not walk and grab some, as not much was made and it is only going to become more expensive from here. Drink from 2025-2060.

98 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Trotanoy 2020 PomerolVinous Antonio Galloni 24/02/2023 The 2020 Trotanoy is tremendous. Even better, it might not take forever to come around! Vertical in build, with tons of explosive energy, Trotanoy offers a beguiling mix of black cherry, plum, licorice, incense, dried herbs, menthol and graphite. There is a ton of energy and structure, along with the signature Trotanoy tannins, but all the elements are so well-balanced.

98 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Trotanoy 2020 Pomerol98/100 Vinous Neal Martin 15/02/2023 The 2020 Trotanoy, one of the vintage's most promising wines from barrel, has retained that backward yet compelling bouquet with black fruit, mulberry and touches of potpourri. Underlying this is a dazzling sense of mineralité that probably has no equal on the Right Bank. The palate is surfeited with tension and poise. Stunning delineation, one of the few genuinely pixelated Pomerols in this vintage. A very nuanced pepperiness emerges towards its extremely persistent finish. What a stunning Trotanoy.
96 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau Trotanoy 2020 PomerolJames Molsworth beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:

Delivers a beam of alluring and lush mulberry, raspberry and black currant puree flavors while maintaining form and focus, with an underpinning of warm paving stone and humus for spine as well as focusing tobacco and alder accents along the edges. Clearly marked by the vintage, but with density and definition that differentiate this from the pack. Best from 2026 through 2040. 1,600 cases made, 163 cases imported. –JM

95 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 PomerolJames Suckling beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:
A juicy and linear Pomerol with blackberries, chocolate and hazelnut, but very subtle. Sexy at the same time. Full-bodied with creamy tannins and a savory finish. Dense and layered. Better after 2025 when it opens.

93 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 Pomerol Den Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 Pomerol beschreibt Jeb Dunnuck wie folgt:
Coming from a mix of gravel and clay soils and based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 Château Bourgneuf has closed down considerably since I tasted it out of barrel. It offers a firmer, more focused, structured style that needs lots of air to show at its best. Ripe black fruits, spicy oak, graphite, and smoked tobacco define the bouquet, and it's tight and backward on the palate, with good extract and length. Hide bottles for 4-5 years, at which point it will evolve nicely for 15 years. Tasted twice.

91 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 PomerolJames Molsworth beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:
A ripe but understated style, with alluring notes of black tea and cedar shavings infusing a core of gently mulled black cherry and plum fruit. The sneaky long finish is silky and refined. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2025 through 2036. 8,500 cases made, 3,000 cases imported. –JM

Aromas of ripe plums and raspberries mingled with hints of rose petals and toasty new oak preface the 2020 Clos l'Eglise, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping wine with a broad attack that segues into a fleshy core of fruit, with powdery extract asserting itself on the youthfully chewy finish.

96 Sucklingpunkte für den Clos L Eglise 2020 PomerolJames Suckling beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:
This has a pretty nose of chocolate, praline, blueberries, lavender and bramble berries. It’s medium-bodied with firm, compact tannins. Firm and focused with an enticing bitter chocolate character throughout. Some smoked wood. Intense and tightly wound. Opens on the palate. Try in 2027.

A real “wow” wine, the 2020 Clos L'Eglise sports deep ruby hue as well as an absolutely stunning bouquet of black cherries, red plums, damp earth, chocolate, truffle, and lead pencil. This deep, full-bodied, concentrated, beauty has that classic Pomerol opulence and richness paired with an incredible sense of elegance. The tannins are perfectly ripe as well. Give bottles just 4-5 years, and it's going to age beautifully. This is the finest wine I've tasted from the Garcin-Lévêque family, surpassing both the 2009 and 2016. Don't miss it.Don't miss it!

The 2020 Hosanna is rich and sun-kissed in style, offering up aromas of berry liqueur, figs, licorice, aniseed and vine smoke, followed by a full-bodied, ripe and gourmand palate with a generous core of confit fruit, polished tannins and a suave, enveloping profile. This ripe, unctuous red wouldn't be out of place in a tasting of contemporary Napa Valley Cabernets.

99 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Hosanna 2020 PomerolDen Chateau Hosanna 2020 Pomerol beschreibt James Suckling wie folgt:
So aromatic and fresh with black olives, black truffles, gravel and dried flowers. Milk chocolate. Ovaltine. Full-bodied with fantastic old-vine tannins. Layered and very structured. Goes deep and down. One for the cellar. Superb. Maybe the best ever. 80% merlot and the rest cabernet franc. Needs ten years here.

98 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Hosanna 2020 Pomerol Den Chateau Hosanna 2020 Pomerol beschreibt Jeb Dunnuck wie folgt:
A big, explosive beast of a wine, the 2020 Château Hosanna comes from a small 11-acre vineyard of gravelly, clay soils and it's 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Decadent red and black fruits, smoked tobacco, loamy earth, chocolate, and some meaty, iron-like nuances all emerge on the nose, and this round, full-bodied, expansive Pomerol has a great mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a blockbuster of a finish. It's one of the more opulent, overtly sexy wines of the vintage, and this beauty is going to offer incredible pleasure over the coming 25-30 years.

95 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau Hosanna 2020 Pomerol
James Molsworth beschreibt ihn im Januar 2023 wie folgt:
Well-formed, with a solid core of cassis, plum reduction and blackberry compote notes that stretch out slowly, supported by wood spice, dried anise and apple wood accents along the way. A late tug of warm earth and sweet tobacco adds depth and length. Captures the exotic edge of the vintage without losing focus -- no easy feat. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2026 through 2038. 1,200 cases made, 85 cases imported. –JM
