Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 Pomerol :
Deep purple-black in color, the 2020 Bourgneuf sashays out of the glass with expressive notes of crushed black cherries, boysenberries and prunes, plus wafts of melted chocolate, Indian spices and cedar chest, with a hint of cardamom. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of spicy/peppery black fruit preserves, framed by ripe, rounded tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and earthy.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Bourgneuf 2020 Pomerol Folgendes:
A dense, sexy red with blackberry, black-truffle and bark character with a full body, chewy tannins and loads of structure at the end. Lovely, ripe tannins. Fresh on the finish.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Bourgneuf:
The 2020 Bourgneuf is a Pomerol château that has stepped up another level in recent vintages, and this latest release continues that trend. It has a quintessential Pomerol nose of black-truffle-infused black fruit, hints of orange blossom and light tertiary scents. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins. A well-structured Bonalgue, yet with plenty of freshness and maybe the most precise finish that I have encountered from this estate. Chapeau to winemaker Dominique Vayron; this is outstanding. Tasted twice with consistent notes.

Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Ockerrandaufhel- lung.
