Die Degustationsnotiz des Wine Advocate zum Chateau Alcee 2020 Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux :
The 2020 Alcee has an opaque purple-black color and alluring scents of stewed black plums, black cherry preserves and raspberry pie, plus suggestions of star anise, rose hip tea, wild mushrooms and cinnamon toast. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with densely packed black fruit and red berry accents, supported by firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and fragrant.
James Suckling schreibt zum Chateau Alcee 2020 Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux Folgendes:
Beautifully polished young red with really creamy tannins that show gorgeous tension and creamy texture. It’s full-bodied, yet agile and vivid. Minerally aftertaste.
Das meint die Vinous-Mannschaft um Antonio Galloni zum Chateau Alcee:
The 2020 Alcée has a well-defined bouquet, nicely controlled, featuring crisp blackberry, briar, undergrowth and very subtle marmalade aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly edgy tannins that lend this Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux a Left Bank quality. Fine salinity emerges toward the finish, completing a very assured and promising Right Bank from Nicolas Thienpont’s stable.
