92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 PauillacAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 Pauillac:
The 2019 Echo Lynch Bages is an absolutely joyous second wine. Ripe, plummy and wonderfully forward, the 2019 Echo is all pleasure. The signature of the house style comes through loud and clear. Hints of spice, tobacco and cedar round out the creamy, inviting finish.

90 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 PauillacUnd Neal Martin (Vinous) zum Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 Pauillac:
The 2019 Echo de Lynch-Bages, matured in one-year-old barrels for 12 months, has a crisp blackberry, briar and cedar bouquet with touches of mint, quite vibrant and lively. The medium-bodied palate offers succulent tannins and mulberry and black plum flavors intermingling with black truffle and white pepper. Maybe just a little abrupt on the finish at the moment, but that will fill out in time.

93 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 PauillacJeb Dunnuck im April 2022:
The 2019 Echo De Lynch-Bages is the second wine of Château Lynch-Bages and it's beautifully done, with a more floral, perfumed, pretty style compared to the Grand Vin, yet it still brings plenty of structure. Red and black currants, sappy flowers, tobacco leaf, and gravelly earth all define the bouquet, and it's medium-bodied, has integrated acidity, gorgeous tannins, and a great finish. It's beautifully balanced and already accessible, yet will nevertheless benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age.

91 Punkte vom Falstaff für den Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 PauillacDer Echo de Lynch Bages 2019 Pauillac am Gaumen der Falstaff-Verköstiger:
Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

A solid, linear red with a beautiful core of fruit and firm tannins, showing blackcurrants and finesse. Full and compact. It’s very fresh and aromatic with violets and hints of spices. Clean and vivid at the end, 62% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot, 9% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot. Try after 2025.

93 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau d Armailhac 2019 PauillacWilliam Kelley im April 2022:
More classically proportioned than the exuberant 2018, the 2019 D'Armailhac wafts from the glass with aromas of violets, blackberries and cassis complemented by subtle hints of licorice, sweet soil tones and warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and perfumed, it's fleshy and enveloping, with an ample core of succulent fruit and beautifully polished, powdery tannins.

94 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau d Armailhac 2019 PauillacJeb Dunnuck im April 2022:
BEST EVER!
Based on 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2019 Château D'Armailhac showed beautifully from barrel two years ago, and it doesn’t disappoint now from bottle. Despite the high Merlot content, it has a firmer, focused, youthful style that's going to benefit from short-term cellaring. Giving up plenty of ripe black cherry, mulberries, and cassis-like fruit as well as textbook Pauillac lead pencil, forest floor, and tobacco, it's medium to full-bodied, has good mid-palate density, subtle background oak, ripe yet building tannins, and a great finish. It shows the vintage's more elegant, classic style yet doesn't lack for concentration or length. It's going to benefit from just 3-4 years of bottle age and drink fabulously well for two decades. It's the finest d’Armailhac I've tasted.

94 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau d Armailhac 2019 PauillacFür den Wine Spectator verköstigte James Molesworth denChateau d Armailhac 2019 Pauillac:
Features a racy, chalky minerality that runs amid a core of steeped plum and black currant fruit, with lively cedar, black tea and savory nuance all around. Sneaky long too, thanks to its mineral thread. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best from 2024 through 2040.

Feine Kräuterwürze, ein Hauch von Edelholz, reife Herzkirschen, zart mit Cassis unterlegt, tabakige Nuancen und kandierte Orangenzesten im Hintergrund. Komplex, engmaschig, frisch strukturiert, schwarze Waldbeeren, präsente intrgrierte Tannine, salzig-mineralischer Abgang, gutes Reifepotenzial.

95 Punkte vergibt Jeb Dunnuck für den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 PauillacJeb Dunnuck im April 2022:

The 2019 Le Petit Mouton De Mouton Rothschild is one heck of a second wine and has a rare level of depth and density. A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot, it reveals a dense ruby/purple hue to go with textbook Pauillac notes of cedar pencil, smoke tobacco, spice box, blackcurrants, and graphite. Deep, rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully balanced, it's probably better than many vintages of the Grand Vin. I absolutely love its purity of fruit, balance, and structure. It needs a healthy decant if drinking any time soon and will benefit from 4-6 years of bottle age, but it will have over two decades of longevity. Just don't tell yourself it's a second wine and you'll think you're drinking the Grand Vin.

92 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 PauillacWilliam Kelley im April 2022:

The 2019 Le Petit Mouton is notably serious this year, offering up a rich bouquet of minty berries, cherries, licorice and toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a generous core of fruit, youthfully chewy tannins and a long, sapid finish, it will reward a bit of bottle age.

97 Suckling Punkte für den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 PauillacJames Suckling über den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 Pauillac:

21 Jan, 2022 – A luscious red with redcurrant, chocolate, plum and hazelnut. Rather opulent on the nose. Full-bodied and very structured with chewy tannins that are intense and powerful. This needs time to come together and soften. 68% cabernet sauvignon and 32% merlot. Better after 2027

94 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 PauillacAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 Pauillac:

The 2019 Le Petit-Mouton is flat-out gorgeous. The energy, tension and delineation here are all first class. There is no doubt in my mind that in a previous era, this could have been a First Growth wine. Maybe not in a truly great vintage, but certainly in anything less than that. Bright red-toned fruit, rose petal, mint and blood orange all run through the 2019, lending notable depth to play off the wine's freshness. I am every bit as excited about the Petit Mouton as I was en primeur. It is a fabulous wine in every way. Wow!

94 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 PauillacUnd Neal Martin )Vinous) zum Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2019 Pauillac:

The 2019 Le Petit Mouton clearly retains its bold bouquet of bravura scents of blackberry, blood orange, and touches of cassis and violet petals, the 50% new oak seamlessly integrated over 18 months. The palate is silky-smooth on the entry, deep and displaying fine grip. This is definitely one of the most seductive Le Petit Mouton releases in recent years. It tightens a little toward the graphite-tinged finish, so afford it more time in bottle than I originally predicted. Superb.

Delivers a juicy core of lightly steeped black currant plum fruit that has a delightfully succulent edge, while hints of dark tobacco, warm earth and iron gently underline the perfumed finish. Approachable now, too. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2033.

Château Batailley 2021 Pauillac
Die Bewertung für den Chateau Batailley 2021 Pauillac Grand Cru Classe vom Wine Cellar Insider lautet wie folgt.JEFF LEVE
92-94

This is a fine-tannined and racy young wine with blackberry, blackcurrant and light mint aromas that follow through to a full to medium body with long, polished tannins and a persistent finish. A classic and classy young wine. 74% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot and 1% petit verdot. Drink after 2025.

The 2019 Batailley has come together beautifully with élevage. There is plenty of power and intensity, but also a greater degree of finesse than in the past. Black cherry, licorice, leather, smoke and spice lend a good deal of gravitas. I would give the 2019 a few years to come together.

95 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Château Batailley 2019 Pauillac Grand Cru ClasseUnd Neal Martin (Vinous) zum Château Batailley 2019 Pauillac Grand Cru Classe:
The 2019 Batailley has an intense bouquet of blackberry, graphite and light tobacco scents, the latter less pronounced than out of barrel. This feels supremely well-defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and pure black fruit laced with cracked black pepper and graphite, leading to a complex and quite prolonged finish. One of the best Batailleys, maybe the best, in recent years, and a strong follow-up to their splendid 2018. Highly recommended and still one of the best values in Pauillac.

Delivers a nice gush of warmed plum and blackberry preserve flavors, enlivened with hints of anise, apple wood and dark tobacco. Features a hint of sweet bay leaf through the finish, which has a lush feel despite a buried cast iron note. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2023 through 2038. 25,000 cases made.

92 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 PauillacJames Suckling über den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 Pauillac:

This is very Pauillac with blackcurrant, lead-pencil and blueberry aromas and flavors. Full body, round and chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. A blend of 60 per cent cabernet sauvignon, 15 per cent cabernet franc, 20 per cent merlot and five per cent petit verdot and malbec. Needs two or three years to soften. Try from 2023.

91 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 PauillacLisa Perrotti Brown im November 2018:

Aged in 50% new French oak barrels and blended of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Fonbadet offers up expressive notions of warm plums, blackberries and kirsch plus unsmoked cigars and spice cake scents with a waft of dusty soil. Medium-bodied and laden with juicy black fruits plus loads of spicy accents, it has a finely grained, approachable texture and great length.

93 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 PauillacAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 Pauillac:

The 2016 Fonbadet is absolutely lovely. Soft curves and a good dose of sweet red cherry jam make a strong opening statement. Lavender, rose petal, spice, leather and chocolate all flesh out as this effortless, racy Pauillac shows off its alluring personality. A wine of total seduction, the 2016 will prove impossible to resist pretty much upon release. Tasted three times.

91+ Punkte bei Vinous für den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 Pauillac Neal Martin (Vinous) zum Chateau Fonbadet 2016 Pauillac:

The 2019 Fonbadet, impressive from barrel, has a delineated bouquet of blackberry, bilberry and touch of licorice that gains intensity with aeration; this is a Pauillac with ambition. The palate is medium-bodied with grip and density, broad shoulders and a very saline finish. This should age supremely well.

92 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Fonbadet 2016 PauillacDer Chateau Fonbadet 2016 Pauillac von Jeb Dunnuck beschrieben:

Château Fonbadet has turned out an incredibly successful 2016, a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot raised in 50% new oak. It has outstanding notes of tobacco leaf, graphite, and some earthy black and blue fruit as well as medium to full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. While I never feel this cuvée hits the highs of its neighbors, the estate certainly seems to have all the right materials, with high density vineyards consisting of 60-year-old vines planted in the classic gravelly soils of the appellation. Yields are miniscule, everything is hand harvested (in 2016 harvest occurred between the 3rd and 25th of October), vinification occurs all in concrete, the wine sees malolactic in barrel, and they use judicious yet high-class oak. I suspect this is an estate to keep on your radar.
