94 Suckling Punkte für den Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint EstepheJames Suckling über den Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint Estephe:
17 Jan, 2022 – A chewy, structured red with blackberry, chocolate and some walnut and bark. It’s full-bodied and solid with lots of fruit and tannins. Second wine of Calon Segur. Needs five or six years to soften. Try after 2026.

94 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint EstepheAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint Estephe:
The 2019 Le Marquis de Calon Ségur is a terrific second wine. Ample, bold and dramatic, the 2019 packs a huge punch. Black cherry, plum, new leather, graphite and incense build as this flamboyant, opulent Saint-Estèphe shows off its considerable allure. The 2019 is a big wine, but the 15.1% alcohol is not especially evident.

92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint Estephe Und Neal Martin (Vinous) zum Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint Estephe:
The 2019 Le Marquis de Calon, matured in 25% new oak, sports an almost identical bouquet to the one I found out of barrel, featuring intense blackberry, iodine and pressed iris petals, albeit with more composure. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly lactic entry and fine acidity, maybe not quite as "crunchy" as I recall, yet still satisfyingly persistent.

92 Punkte vom Falstaff für den Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint EstepheDer Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2019 Saint Estephe am Gaumen der Falstaff-Verköstiger:
Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung.

93+ Punkte

Dichter und satter Kern, frische intensiv fruchtige Nase. süssliche kleine Beeren. Schwarzkirsche. 93+ Punkte

Ebenfalls möchte ich meine Empfehlung für die Weingüter aus dem Fronsac aussprechen: Chateau Fontenil, Chateau La Vieille Cure, Chateau Carlmagnus, Chateau La Dauphine, Chateau La Riviere.

93 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Dalem 2018 FronsacJames Suckling bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac wie folgt:
An elegant nose of flowers, plums, red berries and cedar. It’s medium-bodied with silky texture. Shows balance and finesse, supported by polished tannins and a pretty drive. Lovely all around. Try after 2023.

92 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Chateau Dalem 2018 FronsacJames Mothels bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac wie folgt:
Graceful in feel, this delivers cassis and bitter plum notes infused with bergamot and floral hints that all carry through a refined, mineral-tinged finish. A charming, understated wine. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2030.

93 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Dalem 2018 FronsacLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac wie folgt:
A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Dalem has a deep garnet-purple color and compelling notes of blackberry preserves, wild blueberries and ripe, juicy black plums, with hints of dark chocolate, licorice and black olives. The full-bodied palate (15% alcohol) appears bright and fresh with the lively black fruits framed by soft, velvety tannins, finishing long and savory. Nicely done!

92 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Dalem 2018 FronsacAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau Dalem 2018 Fronsac wie folgt:
The 2018 Dalem is quite backward on the nose, opening gradually to offer blackberry, licorice and very light menthol aromas; you just want to give the aromatics a polite kick up the backside. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Quite juicy in the mouth, delivering black cherries and cassis toward the well-defined, persistent finish. Excellent, but give it 24 months in bottle, because the nose needs time to find its mojo.

93 Suckling Punkte für den Chateau Dalem 2019 FronsacJames Suckling über den Chateau Dalem 2019 Fronsac:
17 Jan, 2022 – Sweet plums and berries with some lavender undertones. Medium to full body. Plenty of fruit and ripe tannins. Crushed-stone undertones. Polished and sophisticated finish. Merlot. Very attractive already, but needs two or three years to come together.

94 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für denNeal Martin (vinous) zum Chateau Dalem 2019 Fronsac:
The 2019 Dalem offers almost Burgundian purity on the nose, where blackberry, bilberry, crushed stone and pressed iris petal commingle. The palate is beautifully proportioned and quite saline, with fine tannins and an almost pixelated finish, which delivers superb grip and density. This is an outstanding Fronsac that will live long in the bottle. Excellent.

94 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Dalem 2019 FronsacJeb Dunnuck beschreibt den Chateau Dalem 2019 im April 2022:
Readers looking for a smoking deal in the vintage should grab bottles of the 2019 Château Dalem. This rich, medium to full-bodied, mouth-filling effort has lots of ripe darker cherry and blackberry fruit as well as tobacco, cedar pencil, and violet nuances. Rich, textured, balanced, and with a real sense of purity and class, it's ideal for enjoying over the coming 10-12, if not 15 years or so.

92 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Für den Wine Spectator verköstigte James Molesworth den Chateau Dalem 2019 Fronsac:
Sleek and taut, with chalky threads running along the edges of a core of fresh cherry puree and cassis notes. Features a subtle tobacco accent throughout, with nice cut through the finish. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2032. 7,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported.

93 Punkte vom Falstaff für den Chateau Dalem 2019 FronsacDer Chateau Dalem 2019 Fronsac am Gaumen der Falstaff-Verköstiger:
Dunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Ockerrandaufhellung. Feine schwarze Waldbeerfrucht, dunkle Kirschen, angenehme Edelholzwürze, kandierte Orangenzesten unterlegt. Saftig, elegant und stoffig, reife Herzkirschen, feine, tragende Tannine, gute Frische und Mineralität, bleibt haften, etwas Nougat, zeigt Länge und Reifepotenzial.

Aromas of dried blueberries, currants, bitter chocolate, chalk and sweet tobacco. It’s medium-to full-bodied with compact, firm tannins that provide form and tension. Racy and energetic finish that goes on for minutes. Try after 2024.

93 Suckling Punkte für den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint EstepheJames Suckling über den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint Estephe:
14 Jan, 2022 – A perfumed nose of mulberries, dark cherries, earth, black tea, cloves and cedar. Full-bodied with tight, sinewy tannins. Well structured and balanced with a fleshy texture and a flavorful, long finish. Big wine. Drink from 2025.

91 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint EstepheAntonio Galloni (Vinous) bewertet den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint Estephe:
The 2019 Capbern is ripe and flamboyant, with soft edges and superb balance. It's a big wine, there is no doubt about that, and yet it also boasts terrific harmony. Dark fruit, new leather, licorice and chocolate build as the 2019 gains intensity through the mid-palate and into the finish. The 15.1% alcohol is not terribly evident.

92 Punkte vom Wine Spectator für den Für den Wine Spectator verköstigte James Molesworth den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint Estephe:
Alluring, with range and character, showing black tea, sweet bay leaf, violet, black currant preserve and singed alder hints. This is carried by a substantial but fine-grained structure, ending with a late sanguine hint. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2032.

94 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck für den Chateau Capbern 2019 Saint EstepheJeb Dunnuck im April 2022:
I love the nose on the 2019 Château Capbern, a medium to full-bodied, spicy, rich, tobacco and cedar pencil-filled beauty with ripe yet building tannins, a great mix of richness and freshness, and a blockbuster of a finish. It's incredibly impressive, and while it offers pleasure even today, it deserves 5-6 years of bottle age, and I can't imagine it not evolving for two decades.

Die Bewertung für den Chateau Dalem 2020 Fronsac vom Wine Cellar Insider lautet wie folgt.Jeff Leve im März 2023:

The floral bouquet is what you initially notice before moving on to its licorice, tobacco leaf, espresso, and chocolate-covered plum notes. On the palate, the wine is seductive with its silky textures, and opulent nature. In the finish, the wine feels as good on the palate as it tastes. This is in contention for the best vintage of Dalem I have ever tasted. Drink from 2023-2038.
