Chateau Trotanoy 2015 mit 100 Punkten bei James SucklingJames Suckling bewertet den Chateau Trotanoy 2015 am 02.02.2018 wie folgt:

Breathtaking aromas of perfectly ripe fruit with blackberries. black olives. licorice. cedar and sweet tobacco. Full body. incredible depth and power. yet this is always in reserve and check. Everything is in the right place for this new legend from Trotanoy. Try it in 2026. Will age for decades in the future.

Chateau Trotanoy 2015 mit 97 Parker Punkten bewertetLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau Trotanoy 2015 am 21.02.2018 wie folgt:

Composed of 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. the 2015 Trotanoy reveals a medium to deep garnet-purple color and comes prancing out of the glass with the most striking black fruit preserves. plum pudding. red currant jelly and blueberry compote notions. followed up by nuances of rose petals. chocolate box. licorice and menthol plus a waft of wild mushrooms. Full-bodied. rich and decadent. it fills the palate with generous perfumed black and blue fruit layers with a seductive frame of velvety tannins and seamless freshness. finishing very long and very minerally.

Chateau Trotanoy 2015 Pomerol mit 98 Punkten bei VinousAntonio Galloni bewertet den Chateau Trotanoy 2015 aus Pomerol wie folgt:

The 2015 Trotanoy is very clearly one of the wines of the vintage. In 2015. Trotanoy captures all the intensity of the year in its ample. full-bodied frame. and yet there is more than enough structure. energy and minerality to play off the wine's more overt leanings. A rush of black cherry. plum. graphite. leather. smoke and game punctuate the huge. tannic finish. What a wine!

Made of 98% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. the 2017 Belair Monange is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. With a little swirling. this baby comes bounding out of the glass with energetic notes of wild blueberries. Morello cherries. baked plums and black raspberries with wafts of Indian spices. lavender. garrigue and tobacco plus a hint of licorice. Medium to full-bodied. the black and blue fruit dance playfully on the palate with fantastic freshness to lift the bold flavors and a superb frame of ripe. velvety tannins. It finishes very long and with amazing zing. So tempting to drink now. but make no mistake—this is one for the long haul!

96 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Belair Monange 2017 Saint Emilion James Suckling bewertet den Chateau Belair Monange 2017 Saint Emilion im Dezember 2019:
Fresh earth. truffle. sous bois and attractively ripe blueberry and plum aromas here. It’s a bold and very pure. primary wine here for now. yet this has great potential. The palate reveals beautifully ripe red-plum and cherry flavors with a powerful tannin statement that carries impressive depth and scale on the finish. Give this time. Try from 2023.

96 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Belair Monange 2017 Saint EmilionNeal Martin. Tasting date: September 2019 | veröffentlicht Januar 2020:
The 2017 Bélair-Monange was so impressive out of barrel and now in bottle. I see no reason to alter my appreciation. It has a very intense bouquet. one that is reassuringly complex. especially in context of what was a rather ordinary growing season with copious red cherries. boysenberry. hints of iodine and a light terracotta scent. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins that are surprisingly rigid at the moment. suggesting that this will be a long term Saint-Émilion. There is a beguiling sense of symmetry. very mineral-driven towards the finish that has impressive sapidity. This comes highly recommended although it deserves five or six years in bottle. Bravo Christian and Edouard Moueix.

100 Sucklingpunkte für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 PomerolJames Suckling beschreibt den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol wie folgt:

Super nose of dried blueberry, black plum, walnut, myrrh and sandalwood. Lavender, violet, and chocolate, too. Ripe with wood now, but fresh. It’s full-bodied with firm, ultra fine tannins. Lots of dark spice is interlaced with the ripe fruit, giving this complex, perfumed character. Muscular, long and seamless with incredible depth and concentration. Reminds me of the great 2009, but this is better with more structure. Amazing wine. This is 100% merlot. Try from 2027.

99 Punkte vom Vinous-Team für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 PomerolAntonio Galloni im März 2021:

The 2018 Trotanoy is a bold, powerful wine. In this vintage, some of the imposing structure that is such a Trotanoy signature has been replaced by super-expressive aromatics and striking detail. Dried herbs, iron, gravel and crushed rose petals all lend gorgeous savory nuance to a core of potent red berry fruit. Trotanoy is a Pomerol for those who can be patient. The 2018, though, is extraordinarily beautiful right out of the gate.

100 Punkte von Jeb Dunnuck 99 für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol11.03.2021 Jeb Dunnuck:

Another heavenly Pomerol in the vintage, the 2018 Château Trotanoy checks in as 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc brought up in (I suspect) lots of new French oak (although it's certainly not apparent). Revealing a dense purple hue as well as a smorgasbord-like bouquet of blackcurrants, dried flowers, cured meats, violets, tobacco, and chocolate, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a sexy, seductive texture, building yet sweet tannins, and just a rich, concentrated, yet flawless profile on the palate that's already impossible to resist. Nevertheless, a good 7-8 years of bottle age are warranted, and this magical elixir is going to evolve for 40 years or more.

99 Punkte vom Wine Advocate für den Chateau Trotanoy 2018 Pomerol31.03.2021 Lisa Perrotti Brown:

The 2018 Trotanoy is composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it slowly unfurls to reveal a jaw-dropping perfume of Black Forest cake, black raspberries, blackberry pie and kirsch, followed by hints of cast-iron pan, violets, woodsmoke, Chinese five spice and eucalyptus, with a waft of tree bark. The full-bodied palate explodes with exotic spice and mineral fireworks, grounded by a concentrated, black and red berry preserves core and framed by firm, grainy tannins, finishing with epic length and depth. It will need a good five years in bottle to tame some of the youthfully overt, showy fruit and allow the mineral and earth nuances to emerge, then it should easily cellar another 35 years or more

Belair Monange 2015 mit 100 Punkten bei James SucklingJames Sucklinger bewertet den Chateau Belair Monange 2015 am 02.02.2018 wie folgt:
Blue fruits. minerals. lavender and licorice aromas are wonderful. Full body and ultra-refined tannins with an integration and refinement that make the wines seamless and beautiful. The powerful tannins hide from you at first. but what structure in the end. It goes on for minutes. Try in 2024.

Belair Monange 2015 mit 98+ Punkten bei Robert ParkerLisa Perrotti Brown bewertet den Chateau Belair Monange 2015 am 21.02.2018 wie folgt:
This perhaps somewhat controversial marriage between the estates of Chateau Belair and Chateau Magdelaine—both Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Emilion estates—to form Chateau Bélair Monange hits pay-dirt with this spectacular 2015 release. Composed of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc. the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Belair Monange has the most singular nose of grilled meats. smoked game. iron ore and fallen leaves over a slowly unfurling ripe fruit core of crushed black plums. blackberry preserves and cassis with fragrant touches of star anise and potpourri. Full-bodied. rich and opulent in the mouth. the palate reveals an arresting backbone of exquisitely ripe. very firm tannins and sparks of background acidity lifting and defining the rich. densely packed layers. culminating in an epically long and multifaceted finish. Possessing its own compellingly beautiful signature. this is a remarkably riveting wine that should not be missed.

Chateau Belair Monange 2015 Saint Emilion mit 98 Punkten bei VinousAntonio Galloni bewertet den Belair Monange 2015 im Februar 2018 wie folgt:
A huge. intense Saint-Émilion. the Bélair-Monange is just as impressive from bottle as it was from cask. That's the good news. The not-so-good news is that the wine is going to need at least a decade to shed some of its considerable baby fat. A rush of super-ripe black cherry. game. smoke and tobacco hits the palate as this dramatic. unrestrained Saint-Émilion shows off its explosive personality. The 2015 speaks with an assertive voice that demands attention – and it got mine. that’s for sure. The blend is 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc.

Bronzelack, das ist "Riesling pur. Volle Frucht und starker Geschmack. Trinkfluss par Excellence." (Schloss Johannisberg)

This super-elegant 2022 dry riesling has an expressive peachy nose with delicate orange, nutmeg and chamomile nuances. Then you take a sip and a huge wave of wet stone minerality pours over you, although the wine is sleek and racy. Extremely long and precise wet stone finish that takes your breath away. Longer on the lees in cask than previous vintages with bottling in May. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
